What is Professional Skills for Government (PSG)?

Professional Skills for Government was launched in 2006 to ensure that wherever people work in government, they have the right mixture of skills and expertise to do their job well.

The core skills framework sets out all the skills people need in their current position. But it also lets people know how they can develop their career, and the skills and experience they need to move forward.
